The freestanding emergency room’s annual Pet Supply Donation Drive more than doubled last year’s record.

Ally Medical ER team members organize pet food, toys, and supplies collected during the company’s third annual Pet Supply Donation Drive, which gathered 16,698 items for shelter animals across Texas.

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Shelter pets across Texas have fresh food, toys and comfort supplies thanks to Ally Medical Emergency Room’s third annual Pet Supply Donation Drive, which wrapped up with 16,698 items collected across the company’s 12 locations in the greater Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas.

The drive, which expanded statewide for the first time this year, benefits Austin Pets Alive!, Dallas Pets Alive! and Houston Pets Alive!, three no-kill rescue organizations that provide food, comfort and care to dogs and cats waiting to be adopted. Donations collected at each location went directly to the partner organization in that community, so every item stayed close to home.

This year’s total more than doubled the roughly 6,000 items collected in 2025 and brought the drive’s three-year total to more than 25,000 items donated since it launched in 2024.

“We care for our patients and our communities the same way these organizations care for animals: with compassion and with heart. Their patients just look a little different than ours. That’s why this drive means so much to us, and watching our teams and neighbors more than double last year’s record was incredibly rewarding. We’re proud to bring the communities we serve together for a great cause,” said Ashby Snow, Senior Marketing Operations Manager at Ally Medical ER.

Last week, Ally Medical ER teams delivered the donations collected at each location to their local partner organizations, closing out this year’s drive and continuing the company’s commitment to caring for its communities both inside and outside its ER walls.
