SEBASTIAN, Fla., Sept. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Author Allen Longstreet has launched a cross-country charity book tour surrounding the release of his new dystopian thriller, Underbelly, with a commitment to donate 100% of his author royalties from copies sold through the end of 2026 to the Tim Tebow Foundation in support of victims of human trafficking.
Released August 18, Underbelly combines dystopian fiction with political commentary and explores a near-future America shaped by corruption, concentrated power, conspiracy, and the influence of powerful interests. Longstreet wrote the novel during 2022 and 2023, drawing on themes that continue to resonate with readers following recent public discussions surrounding political influence, institutional accountability, and the power of wealthy and connected elites.
Rather than limiting the book’s release to traditional promotion, Longstreet has taken Underbelly on the road. The author began the charity tour with a three-week visit through New Hampshire and Maine, where he met with independent booksellers and readers. He has since traveled through Michigan and is currently continuing through Wisconsin, with plans to remain on the road for more than two additional months.
The tour is designed to connect readers directly with the book while giving them an opportunity to support a cause beyond the novel itself. Readers who purchase Underbelly through the end of 2026 will contribute to the charitable effort through Longstreet’s royalty donation.

The novel has also received recognition from BookLife by Publishers Weekly. Its review describes Underbelly as a near-future dystopian story that offers a scathing critique of contemporary politics and explores corporate influence over law and oversight, conspiracy, corruption, and the power of elites. BookLife selected the novel as an Editor’s Pick, calling it a gripping read for audiences interested in dystopian fiction and political commentary.
“I wanted the release of Underbelly to do more than simply put another book on the shelf,” said Longstreet. “The charity tour gives me an opportunity to meet readers, talk about the ideas behind the novel, and use the book to help support people who have experienced human trafficking.”
The cross-country tour will continue throughout the coming months, with Longstreet sharing updates from the road and encouraging readers to follow the journey and learn more about the charitable effort.
