Vymopay expands its Telegram-based self-custody platform with Shield Address, trading, crypto loans, staking, AML monitoring and dedicated deposit addresses.

FRANKFURT, Germany, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Vymopay has expanded its non-custodial digital asset platform with a set of tools designed to address privacy, compliance and asset management after users move funds away from centralized exchanges. The Telegram-based platform combines self-custody with Shield Address, trading, crypto loans, staking and ongoing AML monitoring in one interface.

The development comes as self-custody moves beyond the basic question of who controls a wallet’s private keys. For active traders and businesses, withdrawing assets from an exchange can create another issue: the receiving address becomes associated with an account that may already have completed identity verification.

Vymopay’s Shield Address is designed specifically for that point in the transaction.

Shield Address adds a layer between exchanges and wallets

When a user withdraws crypto directly from a centralized exchange, the exchange can record the destination address used for the transaction. Vymopay’s Shield Address provides an intermediate receiving address instead.

Funds sent to the Shield Address are screened for AML risk before being forwarded to the user’s actual wallet. The receiving wallet does not need to be disclosed to the sender as the withdrawal destination.

The system is intended to give users more control over address exposure without removing AML checks from the transfer process.

Vymopay remains non-custodial, meaning users retain control of their keys and assets rather than depositing them into a wallet controlled by the platform.

Trading and asset management stay inside Telegram

Vymopay operates through Telegram rather than requiring users to install a separate wallet application.

The platform includes an exchange interface supporting market and limit orders, with fill notifications delivered through the same environment. Users can also stake and unstake supported assets and monitor rewards without moving between separate applications.

Crypto-backed loans provide another liquidity option. Eligible users can access stablecoin liquidity against supported crypto collateral rather than first selling the underlying asset. Tax treatment of crypto-backed borrowing varies by jurisdiction and individual circumstances.

For businesses and payment operators, Vymopay supports up to 500 dedicated deposit addresses per asset. These addresses can be assigned to individual customers or transactions, reducing the need to identify incoming payments manually from a shared address.

AML monitoring is built into wallet activity

Compliance tools form another part of the platform.

Shield Address screens incoming funds before forwarding them, while Vymopay’s Freeze Alert is designed for continuous wallet monitoring. Users can receive alerts about identified risks and generate recurring AML reports.

This gives traders and businesses a way to monitor wallet exposure without transferring custody of their assets to Vymopay.

The combination is aimed at a practical issue facing self-custody users. Holding private keys solves the custody question, but it does not automatically provide transaction screening, address management or monitoring tools.

Vymopay is building those functions into the wallet workflow itself.

Self-custody is moving beyond private-key ownership

Interest in non-custodial wallets has grown alongside concerns about centralized counterparty risk. But moving assets into self-custody can also shift more operational responsibility to the user.

Private keys need to be secured. Transactions have to be checked before signing. Businesses accepting crypto need to identify incoming payments, while active users may also need to monitor the history and risk profile of assets reaching their wallets.

Vymopay’s approach is to keep those functions within a self-custody model rather than requiring separate services for wallet management, trading and AML checks.

The latest platform development focuses instead on combining several functions around the point where exchange-held assets move into self-custody, particularly for users who want to limit unnecessary address exposure while retaining compliance checks.
