Troutman Amin, LLP the official law firm of Cal Athletics welcomed the news today that data analytics and AI giant Databricks, Inc. had acquired naming rights to California Memorial Stadium.

Troutman Amin, LLP inked its own historic deal with Cal Athletics in late 2024, locking up the rights to have the firm’s famous lion logo emblazon the field through the 2028 season and making it the first law firm in history to have its logo on a NCAA Division 1 football field.

The Databricks naming rights deal was made possible through Troutman Amin, LLP waiving its right-of-first refusal and allowing Cal Athletic to proceed with the new sponsor a move Troutman says he welcomed with open arms.

The Troutman Amin, LLP lion logo will appear at the 25 yard lines while the Databricks logo will appear at midfield through at least the conclusion of the 2028 season.
