New offering pairs Nice Healthcare’s in-home and virtual primary care with clinician-led care navigation, powered by a partnership with Garner Health, to help employers fight rising premiums without cutting benefits

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Nice Healthcare, the integrated primary care clinic that conveniently brings clinicians to you, today announced the launch of Nice Plan, a health plan designed to work alongside Nice Care, the company’s clinical services, so that every patient visit becomes an avoided insurance claim. Nice Plan is now available to employers across the 15 states where Nice operates: Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The launch arrives as employers brace for another difficult renewal season. According to the Peterson-KFF Health System Tracker, insurers in nearly 300 small-group filings across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., proposed a median premium increase of 14% for 2027, driven largely by rising hospital, physician, and prescription drug costs. Nice Healthcare understood that employers are paying more each year and getting less in return, and created Nice Plan to change that equation.

For nearly a decade, Nice Healthcare has delivered clinically led, in-home and virtual primary care, mental health support, and physical therapy at a per-employee capitated rate with no additional cost to members. Nice Plan expands its care model with a level-funded or self-funded, cost-controlled health plan. With Nice Plan, Nice Healthcare clinicians deliver the everyday care and visits that would normally generate claims, and instead become costs employers avoid. Employers already using Nice-fronted plans see an average $1,593 per-employee-per-year (PEPY) reduction in medical claims.

Nice is also launching Care Navigation services. When a member needs a specialist, a procedure, or help understanding a diagnosis, they can turn to the same Nice clinicians they already trust instead of an insurance company call center. To power this guidance, Nice has partnered with Garner Health, using Garner’s data on clinician quality and cost of care to help members choose high-value specialists. Employers using Garner data to inform referral decisions save an average of $1,900 per referral. Care Navigation services are included with Nice Plan and are also available at no additional cost to Nice Healthcare customers who select their complete solution.

“We built Nice Healthcare nearly a decade ago to bring down costs for employers and increase access for their employees,” says Thompson Aderinkomi, CEO, Nice Healthcare. “It’s exciting to bring that mission full circle by offering our own health plan where the savings are clear, and the care is second to none. It comes at a great time; employers simply cannot afford to keep up with skyrocketing healthcare costs without a better plan.”

Nice Plan pairs a trusted, established care model with a plan designed specifically to reduce claims and premiums together, not separately. The offering is especially relevant for employers considering a move from a fully insured plan to a level-funded plan ahead of the 2027 plan year.
