MIAMI, Florida, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Skincare and cosmetics business generates cumulative profit approaching the $1.1 million in capital raised for its acquisition

Launch Vector, an ecommerce acquisition and operating company, announced that a skincare and cosmetics business within its portfolio has generated more than $1 million in cumulative profit within approximately four and a half months of acquisition, following an approximately $1.1 million capital raise used to acquire the business.

The milestone means the portfolio company has generated cumulative profit equivalent to more than 90% of the capital originally raised for its acquisition in less than five months of LaunchVector ownership.

Through August 2026, the business had generated approximately $4.24 million in net sales, $3.42 million in gross profit and $991,000 in net income. Since the August reporting period closed, continued operations have pushed cumulative profit above the $1 million milestone, according to preliminary company results.

The business maintained an approximately 81% gross margin and 23% net margin through August while deploying approximately $2.2 million toward advertising and marketing during the period.

“We raised approximately $1.1 million to acquire this business, and in roughly four and a half months of ownership it has already generated more than $1 million in profit,” said Zac Richman, Founder and CEO of LaunchVector. “For us, that demonstrates what can happen when disciplined acquisition criteria are combined with the operating infrastructure we’ve built at LaunchVector.”

Launch Vector acquires and operates established ecommerce businesses, providing centralized capabilities across performance marketing, conversion optimization, technology, financial management, fulfillment and brand operations.

Rather than focusing solely on top-line growth, Launch Vector says its acquisition strategy emphasizes cash-generative businesses and post-acquisition profitability, with the goal of improving the underlying economics of each portfolio company following acquisition.

The skincare and cosmetics business generated approximately $250,000 in net income in May, $346,000 in June, $232,000 in July and $164,000 in August, remaining profitable in each reported month. Through August, cumulative net income totaled approximately $991,000.

“Revenue growth gets attention, but ultimately we’re focused on the amount of profit an asset can generate relative to the capital required to acquire and operate it,” Richman said. “We’re building Launch Vector around that principle and creating centralized systems that can be deployed across a growing portfolio of ecommerce businesses.”

The company plans to continue expanding its portfolio while investing in the infrastructure, technology and operating capabilities supporting its existing businesses.
