Former Particle CTO brings deep cellular and IoT leadership to drive Inseego’s global engineering operations and execution, including those from the acquisition of Nokia’s Fixed Wireless Access business
Inseego Names Nick Lambourne Chief Technology Officer
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Inseego Corp. (Nasdaq: INSG), a global leader in wireless broadband connectivity, today announced that Nick Lambourne has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Lambourne will lead Inseego’s global engineering organization across hardware, embedded software, and cloud platforms as the company expands its scale and global footprint through its planned acquisition of Nokia’s Fixed Wireless Access business.
Lambourne has led the development of cellular and connected products across hardware, embedded software, cloud services, mobile applications, and manufacturing. That background is particularly relevant as Inseego brings its existing and incoming Nokia FWA engineering operations together into a single global engineering organization and aligns how it develops and delivers products for service provider and enterprise customers.
Most recently, Lambourne was CTO of Particle, where he helped build an enterprise IoT business that paired connected hardware with recurring software services and helped guide the company’s integration following its acquisition by Digi International. Prior to that, he held engineering and business leadership roles at Roku, Automatic, and SiriusXM, led Android platform development at Broadcom, and began his career developing cellular silicon for Nokia and Samsung phones.
