Cleanfarms/AgriRÉCUP Unwanted Pesticides and Livestock Equine/Medications (UPLM) Collection Event
SAINT-BRUNO-DE-MONTARVILLE, Quebec, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Farmers across Quebec are getting ready to participate this Fall in AgriRÉCUP’s longest running, well-loved environmental stewardship initiative: the Unwanted Pesticides and Old Livestock/Equine Medications (UPLM) program.
Operating on a rotating three-year schedule, this AgriRÉCUP program helps farmers protect their land and communities by accepting unwanted commercial-class pesticides and expired livestock/equine medications for safe disposal, free of charge. New in 2026 and only in Quebec farmers can also turn into expired treated seeds as well.
This year, there are twenty-two single-day collection events across Quebec from September 21 to October 8, operating from 9AM to 4PM. For added convenience in more remote regions, there are also three-week collection events in nine locations, including Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Gaspésie–Les Îles, and others (dates and hours vary.
