Local NSW stock and Autra Batteries Australia retail partnership mark the first stage of EnergyLIB’s nationwide Australian supply and support network

SYDNEY, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EnergyLIB, a home energy brand built exclusively for residential energy, is strengthening its Australian presence through the establishment of EnergyLIB Australia, local stock in New South Wales and the appointment of Autra Batteries Australia as a local retail partner.
The move comes as Australia’s residential battery market enters a period of rapid growth, supported by the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program and rising household demand for more reliable, flexible and independent home energy systems.
EnergyLIB Australia has been established as EnergyLIB’s local entity to better serve the Australian market and support the company’s long-term growth in the country. Together, EnergyLIB Australia, NSW stock and the Autra Batteries Australia retail partnership mark the first stage of EnergyLIB’s planned nationwide Australian supply and support network.
Under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, installed home battery capacity reached 7.4 GWh in the program’s first nine months1 — and the momentum is still building. Now funded at an estimated $7.2 billion over four years, the program is expected to see more than two million Australians install a battery by 2030, delivering around 40 gigawatt hours of storage capacity2.
