SYDNEY, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EnergyLIB, a home energy brand built exclusively for residential energy, is strengthening its Australian presence through the establishment of EnergyLIB Australia, local stock in New South Wales and the appointment of Autra Batteries Australia as a local retail partner.

The move comes as Australia’s residential battery market enters a period of rapid growth, supported by the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program and rising household demand for more reliable, flexible and independent home energy systems.

EnergyLIB Australia has been established as EnergyLIB’s local entity to better serve the Australian market and support the company’s long-term growth in the country. As part of this local expansion, EnergyLIB Australia has opened a warehouse in New South Wales, with LIB HomeStack battery system and the LIB Hybrid Inverter now held in local stock and available for immediate dispatch across New South Wales and South East Queensland, including Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

EnergyLIB has also formally appointed Autra Batteries Australia as a local retail partner. With an established presence in the local battery market, Autra Batteries Australia will provide customer-facing retail access to EnergyLIB products, helping Australian homeowners connect with locally available home energy storage solutions.

Together, EnergyLIB Australia, NSW stock and the Autra Batteries Australia retail partnership mark the first stage of EnergyLIB’s planned nationwide Australian supply and support network.

Under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, installed home battery capacity reached 7.4 GWh in the program’s first nine months1 — and the momentum is still building. Now funded at an estimated $7.2 billion over four years, the program is expected to see more than two million Australians install a battery by 2030, delivering around 40 gigawatt hours of storage capacity2.

“Australia is entering the phase where home batteries stop being an upgrade and start becoming part of the standard home energy system,” said Leon Hu, B2B Sales Director of EnergyLIB. “We intend to be part of this market for decades. Establishing EnergyLIB Australia, holding local stock in New South Wales and appointing Autra Batteries Australia as our local retail partner are important first steps in building the local infrastructure needed to support that ambition — bringing product availability, retail access and support closer to Australian homeowners.”

EnergyLIB’s Australian expansion is built around residential energy solutions designed specifically for the home, including the LIB HomeStack battery system and LIB Hybrid Inverter, with scalable battery capacities of 16kWh, 32kWh and 48kWh. Through EnergyLIB Australia, the company aims to support the local market with product availability, Australian-based technical and after-sales support, and a clearer service pathway as its supply and partner network expands into additional states.

Customers interested in EnergyLIB products can contact Autra Batteries Australia at https://autrabatteries.com/. Installers, distributors and partners interested in working with EnergyLIB can visit https://www.energy-lib.com/au/.
