A conversation with Andy Warhol helped spark the idea behind EarthCam. Warhol told founder Brian Cury, “If you put a camera on anything, you can make it famous.” The thought stayed with Cury. In 1996, he launched EarthCam with a simple idea: use the emerging internet to connect people through live camera technology. Thirty years later, EarthCam continues to expand its live-streaming network and introduce new services that deliver greater intelligence to both public audiences and business customers.
