Lilly Cabral, LADC-I

Clinical Director for Adcare Hospital’s Foundations Unit

WORCESTER, Mass., Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AdCare Hospital, a leading provider of medical detox and addiction treatment services in Worcester, MA, has appointed Lilly Cabral, M.A., LADC-I, as the Clinical Director for Foundations, the Massachusetts treatment center’s new men’s unit that opened in September of 2026. This unit offers additional detox and treatment support for patients who need help but do not meet the higher-level criteria for hospital admission that the rest of the inpatient detox facility requires.

Cabral brings extensive experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, clinical operations, and team leadership to the role. A Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (LADC-I), Cabral earned a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies with a minor in Psychology from Assumption University.

Cabral has worked with youth, adolescents, and adults experiencing psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and physical and cognitive disabilities. Her diverse background includes both direct patient care and leadership roles. Prior to stepping into the role of Clinical Director, Cabral held several positions at AdCare Hospital, including roles in placement, counseling, program management, and supervision.

“My approach to treatment is grounded in strengths-based, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care, with a focus on understanding each patient as an individual and meeting them where they are in their recovery journey,” said Cabral. “That philosophy aligns closely with AdCare Hospital’s commitment to individualized, compassionate care, and I am honored to continue serving our patients alongside such a dedicated and talented team.”

“Lilly brings a deep understanding of AdCare Hospital, our operations and, most importantly, the needs of the patients and families we serve,” said Laura Ames, Executive Director of AdCare Hospital. “Throughout her time with AdCare, she has consistently demonstrated compassion, strong leadership and a genuine commitment to creating a positive experience for both patients and staff. We look forward to the continued positive impact she will have on our patients, our staff and the AdCare community.”
