The furniture brand will focus its giving on initiatives that support more sustainable, resilient and equitable cities

FONTANA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — LORVA (LORVA.com), the design-led furniture brand creating modular furniture systems that reconfigure as life does, has joined 1% for the Planet, a global network of businesses committed to environmental action.

Through its membership, LORVA has committed to contributing at least 1% of its annual sales, rather than profits, to approved environmental organizations. Contributions are made directly to vetted Impact Partners and reviewed annually by 1% for the Planet as part of its certification process.

LORVA plans to focus its initial giving on environmental initiatives that support more sustainable, resilient and equitable cities. The company will select eligible organizations from 1% for the Planet’s network of approved Impact Partners. Its first annual contribution amount will be calculated based on 2026 sales following the close of LORVA’s fiscal year on December 31, 2026.

“Furniture is closely tied to the way we live, and life rarely stays in one configuration,” said Fiona, Co-Founder and Head of Brand at LORVA. “People move, rooms change, families grow and communities evolve. We created LORVA around the idea that the spaces around us should support those changes. Our modular systems adapt as life moves forward, while our bright, expressive colors bring energy, optimism and possibility into the home. Joining 1% for the Planet allows us to carry that belief beyond the furniture we design and support work that helps create more sustainable, resilient and connected communities.”

Why LORVA Joined

Furniture is a considered purchase, but it can become unsuitable long before it stops being functional. A new apartment, a different floor plan, a move across the country or a growing household can all change what someone needs from a sofa.

LORVA’s modular systems are designed around that reality. Individual pieces can be separated, rearranged and recombined into new configurations without tools. This adaptability allows each system to evolve as life changes and remain useful across more rooms, routines and stages of life.

LORVA’s furniture also features bright, expressive colors intended to bring energy and optimism into everyday spaces. Thoughtful product design is only one part of operating responsibly. LORVA joined 1% for the Planet to establish a clear financial commitment that grows alongside the business.

About LORVA

LORVA is a furniture brand for modern lives in motion. The name combines the ideas of “it holds” and “it goes,” reflecting a commitment to stability and forward motion in equal measure.

Built on the belief that home should support both the climb and the reset, LORVA creates modular furniture systems that reconfigure as life does. Pieces can be rearranged, added on or reshaped as routines, rooms and needs change, because life doesn’t sit still, and neither should your furniture.

LORVA treats furniture as part of the daily rhythm of living and recharging, not simply something that fills a room. LORVA, for life in motion.
