MIAMI, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ReleasePad, a Changelog Tool, today launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, Grok and other LLM’s draft, publish and analyze product changelogs directly from a conversation. Release notes are the step most teams skip: the feature ships, the announcement waits, and customers never hear about it. With the MCP server, the same coding agent a developer already works with can close that gap in a sentence: “Look at what we merged this week, draft a release note for customers, and leave it as a draft for me.”

Connected once through OAuth, with no API keys to manage, an assistant can read what a team merged, write a customer-ready release note in the team’s voice, file it under the right category, attach images and schedule it. It can also pull up earlier posts to edit or reference and ask how each one performed. Every draft wait for a person to approve it; nothing is published until someone presses the button.

Each published entry reaches users in three places at once: inside the product through ReleasePad’s 4.3kb in-app widget, on a public changelog page hosted on the company’s own domain, and as an LLM-ready Markdown feed. That last surface closes a loop of visibility. The AI that helped build a feature announces it, customers see it where they already work, and the assistants those customers ask about the product read the same source of truth instead of guessing.

“Teams already write release notes with AI. Now the AI can ship them too,” said Felix, CEO of ReleasePad. “Every push can become a draft, every draft can go out with one click, and every update becomes something both people and AI assistants can find.”

The MCP server works with any assistant that supports the protocol. It is included in ReleasePad Pro at $35 per product per month, with unlimited team members and no per-seat fees. A free tier is available at releasepad.io.

About ReleasePad

ReleasePad is changelog software that helps software teams make sure the things they ship get noticed. Most products improve every week, but the news rarely reaches customers, because writing and distributing release notes is the task nobody has time for. ReleasePad takes that task off the team’s plate: AI drafts the announcement from what was built, a person approves it, and it goes out everywhere customers look. More than 150 teams use ReleasePad to keep users, prospects and AI assistants up to date on what’s new. Learn more at releasepad.io.
