Vanguard is returning to iVT Expo in Chicago

View the comprehensive range of commercial battery solutions in Hall F, booth #455

Milwaukee, WI, Aug. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Vanguard is returning to iVT Expo in Chicago, August 19–20, to showcase its comprehensive range of commercial battery solutions in Hall F, booth #455 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. Vanguard is highlighting how its total system approach as a dedicated single-source partner eliminates integration friction and accelerates time-to-market for OEMs.

“The biggest hurdle OEMs face right now isn’t finding a battery; it’s making all the electric components work together seamlessly under tough conditions,” said David Frank, senior vice president and president of electrification at Briggs & Stratton. “That’s where Vanguard comes in. By delivering a complete system and collaborating closely on design and integration, we help manufacturers validate their machines and transition from prototype to production with confidence.”

The Vanguard™ Full 48V Electrification Stack on Display
Attendees visiting the Vanguard booth can explore the company’s full 48V electrification stack. This single-source platform consists of commercial lithium-ion battery packs, electric motors and motor controllers, compatible chargers and a proprietary Battery Management System, all engineered to simplify OEM integration across construction, agriculture, industrial, material handling, utility and low-speed vehicle applications. Built to perform in extreme environments, Vanguard battery systems deliver standard CANbus communication, real-world durability and maintenance-free operation.

Vanguard’s featured 48V electrification stack includes:

  • Vanguard 1.5kWh1 (Si1.5) Commercial Battery: Built for modularity and high utilization, this swappable 48V battery pack allows operators to exchange power quickly between applications. Featuring a 75-minute standard charge time when paired with compatible Vanguard chargers2, it eliminates operational downtime.
  • Vanguard 3.5kWh1 (Fi3.5) Commercial Battery: Available in both 24V and 48V configurations, the Fi3.5 simplifies the integration process for OEMs transitioning from lead-acid batteries to lithium-ion batteries.
  • Vanguard 5kWh1 (Fi5.0) Commercial Battery: Delivering the core performance and durability of the Vanguard lineup, the Fi5.0 provides a versatile power foundation for mid-sized equipment.
  • Vanguard 7kWh1 (Fi7.0) Commercial Battery: Available in long and tall configurations, the Fi7.0 delivers more power in a compact footprint and can be scaled in parallel to power heavy-duty applications.
  • Vanguard Motors: Engineered for automotive-grade durability and high-torque performance, these maintenance-free motors, including the MVG1500, MVG3500 and MVG5000, seamlessly integrate and complete a full battery system for OEM application needs.
  • Vanguard Motor Controllers: Available in MC2000, MC4000 and MC8000 configurations, these motor controllers provide flexible power options to match voltage requirements across various equipment sizes and electrification applications.

Designed, engineered and assembled in the USA, Vanguard batteries are backed by an eight-year commercial limited warranty3 and the extensive Briggs & Stratton dealer network. To learn more about the Vanguard products on display at iVT Expo, click here.
