HONG KONG, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — UKey has released the source code for firmware version 1.5.0 of its UKey Core 26 hardware wallet. The release is part of the company’s work to open its hardware wallet firmware to public examination and developer contributions.
The source code is available in the firmware-core repository under bestyourwallet, UKey’s GitHub organization. Developers, security researchers, and users can examine the code under the repository’s applicable open-source licenses.
The repository includes core firmware, cryptographic and storage components, and a client. Its getting-started guide explains how to prepare a development environment, build an emulator, and run it locally.
