MCHP & TI Now Available on the Spirit Store

Spirit Electronics is an authorized distributor for Microchip Technology and Texas Instruments, whose products are now available on its online store at spiritelectronics.com

PHOENIX, Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Spirit Electronics, a value-added distributor of high-reliability electronics focused on performance-driven program requirements, announced that space-grade and high-reliability components from Texas Instruments and Microchip Technology are now available directly through its online store at spiritelectronics.com. The announcement coincides with the SmallSat Conference in Salt Lake City, where Spirit supports the growing demand for radiation-tolerant, orbit-qualified electronics for satellite and space system development.

Spirit maintains full catalog access for both suppliers, but this release highlights the availability of mission-critical TI and Microchip devices, including radiation-hardened power solutions, space-grade microcontrollers, high-reliability analog components, precision timing devices, and other integrated circuits designed to withstand the extreme thermal, electrical, and radiation environments of Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), Geostationary Orbit (GEO), Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) and Deep Space exploration missions.

With onshore value-added services such as environmental testing, screening, qualification, and assembly support, Spirit Electronics enables satellite manufacturers, research institutions, and New Space technology developers to source and prepare components for space deployment through a single procurement pathway.

“Our customers working in orbital and space applications need reliable access to components that can survive the harsh conditions of launch and deployment,” said Marti McCurdy, CEO of Spirit Electronics. “By adding space-grade TI and Microchip products to our online store, we’re making it easier for engineers to source mission-ready parts and seamlessly integrate Spirit’s screening and qualification services into their build plans. Supporting the SmallSat community with quicker access to orbit-proven electronics is a natural extension of our commitment to high-reliability programs.”

Spirit Electronics will continue expanding space-grade inventory listings and online purchasing options throughout 2026 to support commercial satellite manufacturers, government programs, and academic missions requiring U.S.-sourced high-reliability components.
