S&G Scholarship for Veterans

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — S&G Labs announces the S&G Scholarship for Veterans, a one-time educational opportunity designed to support U.S. military veterans currently pursuing undergraduate degrees at accredited colleges and universities. The scholarship recognizes the leadership, resilience, discipline, and sense of purpose that veterans bring to higher education while helping reduce financial barriers as they prepare for their next stage of professional and community service.

The S&G Scholarship for Veterans is open to eligible undergraduate students who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces and remain in good academic standing. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university and submit a complete application before the March 15, 2027, deadline. The selected recipient is announced on April 15, 2027.

S&G Labs Opens Scholarship Opportunity for Undergraduate Veterans

Founded by physician Dr. Lynn Puana, S&G Labs builds its work around advancing medication monitoring and supporting better patient care through innovative laboratory testing solutions. Dr. Lynn Puana brings extensive clinical experience to the organization, having cared for patients on Hawaii’s Big Island since 2008. Her commitment to practical healthcare solutions also informs the broader community-focused approach reflected in the S&G Scholarship for Veterans.

Through the scholarship, Dr. Lynn Puana and S&G Labs recognize the value of veterans’ experiences beyond military service. The application essay gives candidates an opportunity to explain how their service influences their educational journey, career goals, approach to challenges, and plans to contribute meaningfully to their communities, professions, or society.

Applicants are required to submit an original essay of 500 to 800 words addressing the scholarship prompt. Essays must represent the applicant’s original work and cannot have been previously published or submitted for another scholarship competition.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces.
  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Submit a complete application before March 15, 2027.
  • Provide an original 500–800-word essay responding to the designated prompt.

Required application materials include the applicant’s full name, contact information, current college or university, proof of undergraduate enrollment, proof of veteran status, and original essay.

Applications must be submitted in a single email to [email protected] with the subject line “S&G Scholarship for Veterans Application – [Applicant Name].”

Supporting Veterans Through Education and Future Leadership

The S&G Scholarship for Veterans reflects Dr. Lynn Puana’s and S&G Labs’ commitment to service, opportunity, and community impact. By directing attention toward undergraduate veterans, the initiative acknowledges the transferable skills developed through military service and their potential to strengthen academic and professional pursuits.

Dr. Lynn Puana emphasizes the importance of educational opportunity as veterans transition from military service into new professional roles. The scholarship provides selected support while encouraging applicants to consider how their experiences, education, and future ambitions can contribute to broader society.

As S&G Labs advances its mission in medication monitoring and laboratory testing, Dr. Lynn Puana continues to champion initiatives that connect professional expertise with meaningful community impact. The S&G Scholarship for Veterans extends that commitment into higher education by recognizing veterans who demonstrate academic dedication and a clear vision for their future.

Veteran undergraduate students seeking scholarship opportunities are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and prepare their applications ahead of the March 15, 2027 deadline.
