PERIBOARD-735 Split Ergonomic Keyboard for Natural Typing

Experience a more natural typing position with the PERIBOARD-735 split ergonomic keyboard, designed for comfortable everyday work and extended typing sessions.

The full-size split ergonomic keyboard pairs Kailh low-profile mechanical switches, three tilt positions, and four-device connectivity — built on lessons from the acclaimed PERIBOARD-835, at a more accessible price.

DÜSSELDORF, Germany — Since 2006, Perixx has asked one question with every keyboard it builds: how should a keyboard fit the hands that use it, not the other way around? That question shaped the PERIBOARD-835, the ergonomic mechanical keyboard that won over professionals unwilling to trade comfort for a satisfying typing feel. It shapes the PERIBOARD-735, introduced today for anyone who watched the PERIBOARD-835 succeed and wanted that same experience, simplified and offered at a more accessible price.

Why Ergonomic Design Matters

On a standard keyboard, the hands must angle inward just to reach the keys — bending the wrists sideways in a posture called ulnar deviation. Held for hours, this compresses the ulnar nerve and strains the forearm, contributing to fatigue and repetitive strain injury (RSI). Perixx has spent 20 years designing around this problem.

The PERIBOARD-735’s split key field lets each hand line up with its own forearm rather than angling inward, keeping the wrist straighter and the shoulders at a natural width. An integrated palm rest supports the wrists between keystrokes.

Flat keyboards also force the wrists upward into dorsiflexion to type, narrowing the carpal tunnel and raising pressure on the median nerve — a leading contributor to carpal tunnel syndrome. The PERIBOARD-735’s three tilt positions — 0°, -4°, -7° — angle the board so the wrist can stay flatter and closer to neutral. Since ideal tilt depends on desk height, chair height, and forearm length, three options let more people reach a neutral angle instead of one fixed compromise. At 18.66 × 7.95 × 1.73 inches, it keeps a full-size layout on any desk.

Mechanical Feel, Ergonomic Frame

Ergonomic design serves the body; mechanical switches serve the feel — and for years, typists have had to choose one or the other. A keyboard that delivers both has been something the market has waited a long time for: most ergonomic keyboards rely on membrane switches to keep costs down, while most mechanical keyboards ignore ergonomics altogether. Perixx’s Ergonomic Mechanical line, of which the PERIBOARD-735 is a part, closes that gap. It comes with three Kailh low-profile switches: smooth, quiet Red; tactile, quiet Brown; and tactile, clicky Blue. Full N-key rollover and anti-ghosting ensure every keystroke registers accurately, even with several keys pressed at once — essential for fast typing, shortcuts, and multi-key commands.

Built for a Multi-Device Workday

Four connection modes — 2.4GHz wireless, two Bluetooth channels and USB-wired— keep the PERIBOARD-735 paired to a desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone at once, with dedicated buttons to switch instantly between Windows and macOS. No dedicated driver is required for standard operation on Windows, macOS, or Linux, and the browser-based Perixx Console enables key remapping and custom shortcuts without installing extra software. A built-in 3000 mAh rechargeable battery delivers up to a month of use at six to eight hours of daily operation, recharging through the included USB-C cable.

Price and Availability

The PERIBOARD-735 carries a suggested retail price of $139.99 in the United States, available now with Red, Brown, or Blue switches.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a keyboard “ergonomic”? It supports a natural wrist, hand, and shoulder position via a split layout, adjustable tilt, and wrist support.

How is the PERIBOARD-735 different from the PERIBOARD-835? Same ergonomic design and Kailh switches, minus backlighting, for a lower price.
