A man has been charged with using explosives in connection with a fire in Mississauga that caused $3 million in damage to a building housing high-end vehicles on Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to a fire at an industrial building near Tomken Road and Meyerside Drive.
No injuries were reported but the fire left numerous high-end vehicles inside the building damaged.
Peel police said the damage is estimated to be about $3 million. As a result of the investigation, investigators executed a warrant at a residence in Toronto on Friday.
A suspect identified as 33-year-old Mathan Yoseph of Toronto was arrested and charged with arson, break and enter, using explosives and two counts of mischief over $5,000.
“This is believed to be an isolated incident,” police said.
