SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 18, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — LiTime has recently concluded its global user co-creation campaign, “Go Electric Contest Season 2: Argoseeker Sets Sail”. By collecting real-world stories and feedback from water explorers around the world, the campaign highlighted growing interest in simpler, more convenient, and more reliable electric solutions for small boats.

Held from July 15 through Sept. 10, the campaign generated more than 1.5 million impressions and received hundreds of submissions from 15 countries and regions. Participants shared their experiences across a variety of watercraft and activities, including kayaks, inflatable boats, small fishing boats, Jon boats, and stand-up paddleboards.

These real stories captured the unique connection between people and the water while helping LiTime better understand the evolving needs of small-boat users across different vessel types, environments, and exploration styles. The insights will continue to support LiTime’s efforts in developing more accessible electric boating solutions.

Global Participation Shows Passion for Life on the Water

For many water explorers, a boat is more than a means of transportation. It represents a way to connect with nature, enjoy outdoor experiences, spend time with family and friends, and create lasting memories.

Throughout the campaign, participants from 15 countries around the world shared meaningful moments on the water: finding the perfect fishing spot on a lake, enjoying coastal adventures, spending weekends with loved ones, or reaching destinations that were previously difficult to access with a small boat.

Exploring More Possibilities on the Water

At the same time, these experiences revealed several common challenges associated with traditional propulsion methods:

  • Limited range that can restrict exploration opportunities;
  • Continuous physical effort required for paddling or pedal-powered boating;
  • Fuel odor, noise, vibration, and maintenance associated with gas-powered systems.

As more users look to explore farther, spend more time on the water, and enjoy a more comfortable boating experience, they are seeking integrated electric solutions that are lightweight, easy to use, and designed for real-world applications.

Real Stories Witness Shift in How People Explore the Water

Many participants shared personal journeys of transitioning from traditional propulsion methods to electric boating.

Canadian user Serhii shared his own electrification journey. He started with nothing but paddles, then moved to a trolling motor powered by lead-acid batteries. Over time, he encountered common challenges, including heavy battery weight, declining capacity, and limited confidence during longer trips.

He eventually upgraded to a LiTime 12V 140Ah LiFePO₄ battery solution. The lighter setup, more consistent power support, and improved confidence on longer outings became the most noticeable changes in his experience.

“I started in 2024 with nothing but paddles. Today I’m fishing with electric power,” Serhii said.

From Paddle to Electric Power

Italian user Massimiliano DI GIAMBATTISTA shared his expectations for transitioning from a gas-powered outboard to an electric solution.

Using a 2.7-meter inflatable boat for nearshore fishing, he experienced challenges associated with gas outboards, including fuel odor, maintenance requirements, noise, and vibration. For his future electric upgrade, he hopes to achieve a simpler, quieter, and more enjoyable boating experience.

“Zero fuel smell, instant start-up, almost no maintenance, extremely low noise,” Massimiliano said.

These experiences reflect the changing expectations of small-boat users who are looking for quieter, cleaner, and easier ways to enjoy time on the water.

User Insights Inspire Argoseeker Innovation

User feedback not only captures how people are changing the way they explore the water, but also provides valuable insights for LiTime’s continued development of electric marine solutions.

Building on feedback from Go Electric Contest Season 1 and ongoing conversations with users worldwide, LiTime introduced the Argoseeker electric outboard motor series. By integrating the motor, control system, and compatible marine battery solutions, Argoseeker provides a more convenient one-stop marine power solution for kayaks, inflatable boats, small fishing boats, and other small watercraft.

The initial Argoseeker lineup includes:

  • Argoseeker A1: A 24V, 700W electric outboard motor designed for kayaks, canoes, inflatable boats, and lightweight small boats.
  • Argoseeker A2: A 48V, 2,000W electric outboard motor designed for small-boat users seeking greater power and extended range capability.

By simplifying system integration, Argoseeker aims to make small-boat electrification more accessible and help more users transition from paddles, pedal power, or gas propulsion to electric exploration. LiTime will continue listening to users worldwide and refining the Argoseeker series based on real-world applications and feedback.

Connecting Explorers to Sail into the Future of Electric Boating

Go Electric Contest is more than a user co-creation campaign. It is an important platform for LiTime to connect with water explorers worldwide and gain deeper insights into real boating needs.

From user experiences and product insights to continuous innovation, LiTime is exploring how technology can help more people enjoy greater freedom and ease on the water.

Inspired by the explorer spirit behind Argoseeker, LiTime will continue advancing user-driven lithium power system innovation to make electric boating more accessible for more people.

From Paddle to Power. Go Electric, Go Farther.
