AMMAN, Jordan, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Jackaroo King held its “Jordan Princess Championship” at The Dealer Cafe, bringing 16 women together in eight two-player teams on August 21. Competitors gathered onsite and played through the Jackaroo King app, while online players could enter a dedicated tournament room to follow the matches and interact in real time.

The tournament used a random draw followed by knockout rounds. Under classic Jackaroo rules, each pair had to read the board, plan piece movements, and adjust to changing situations. The format tested individual judgment while placing equal importance on communication, trust, and teamwork.

Designed as a women-focused event, the championship offered Jordan’s female Jackaroo players a welcoming setting for competition and connection. Players moved from games with friends to an in-person tournament, sharing their enthusiasm for Jackaroo and highlighting women’s role in the local gaming community.

The event also extended Jackaroo King’s online-to-offline social experience. The cafe gave players and friends a place to meet, while the in-app room allowed those unable to attend to watch the competition. Together, onsite gathering, digital play, and community interaction showed how a familiar board game can connect people.

“Jackaroo is compelling not only because of strategy, but also because of the trust, communication, and companionship it creates between players,” said Yusuf, a representative of Jackaroo King. “Through the Jordan Princess Championship, we were pleased to give women a stage to demonstrate their skills, make friends, and share the joy of play. We will continue listening to different player communities and developing localized activities across the Middle East.”

The Jordan Princess Championship represents another step in Jackaroo King’s work to strengthen local player communities. The game will continue exploring events built around classic gameplay, team competition, and social interaction, helping friends gather, take on challenges, and build meaningful connections.
