Morristown, Tenn., Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Iconex, an M2S Group Company and global leader in innovative labeling solutions and linerless technology, today announced the launch of its patent-pending Iconex Connect RFID linerless label, a breakthrough innovation that combines the sustainability and operational efficiencies of linerless labels with the intelligence of RFID.

Designed for logistics, distribution, e-commerce, retail, and food/grocery operations, the new solution helps organizations improve supply chain visibility, automate data collection, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency, all within a single label format.

“At Iconex, we are constantly looking for ways to help our customers operate smarter, faster, and more sustainably,” said Rob Epler, President of Iconex. “Our patent-pending Iconex Connect RFID linerless technology represents a groundbreaking advancement for the industry, bringing together two technologies – linerless labels and RFID – in a way that improves operational efficiency while immediately advancing sustainability goals. This game-changing innovation was driven by listening to the voice of our customers, responding to market needs, and utilizing the expertise and creativity of all our Iconex team members.

The new RFID linerless label launches the Iconex Connect brand with RFID, providing customers with both linerless and lined labels. RFID linerless labels expand the RFID industry’s capabilities, giving customers a new solution that is purpose-built for where process optimization, sustainability, and traceability are equally important.

“RFID linerless labels represent an innovation in the labels space not seen to date,” said Barb Campbell, Director of Product Management at Iconex. “Combining RFID and linerless technologies creates significant opportunities across a wide range of applications. Our advanced linerless adhesive technologies, including gap and pattern designs, help reduce adhesive buildup and printer jams, while eliminating liner waste and enabling more labels per roll. Paired with the visibility and intelligence of RFID, the operational and sustainability benefits are tremendous.”

With more than 130 years of innovation and leadership in variable information label technologies, Iconex continues to invest in next-generation solutions that help customers improve accuracy, reduce waste, and unlock greater value from their operations.
