Rows and rows of first responders marched alongside the hearse that carried Ramandeep Kaur Maan Sunday morning for her funeral.

The 25-year-old correctional officer worked at the Edmonton Institute for Women.

She lost her life in a crash on Aug. 6, along with her colleague Nicolae Serban. His funeral was held on Saturday.

The pair of officers was transporting an inmate at the time of the crash – Keira Mooswa was also killed.


Mann’s father, mother and younger brother expressed their pain and love for her to the crowd of roughly two hundred people in attendance.
