AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Gage Commercial Construction, a full-service general contracting firm specializing in multifamily renovation and reconstruction, is advancing five fire reconstruction projects across Texas and Oklahoma, with projects scheduled for completion in 2026 and additional work continuing into 2027.
The projects range from unit repairs to full building reconstruction, reflecting the complexity of restoring multifamily properties following fires. Gage’s 2026 project scope across Texas and Oklahoma totals more than $12.5M, reinforcing the company’s deep expertise in catastrophic reconstruction and its resources to mobilize support quickly.
At The Place Apartments in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Gage is completing reconstruction work across several buildings after a fire forced residents out of their homes. The team is actively working on a full reconstruction of one building, including the foundation, with completion expected by the end of the year. A second building is also undergoing a full rebuild from the foundation up, with completion anticipated in late 2027.
Also in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Gage is working on a partial reconstruction project for a total of 16 units at the Summer Gate Apartments, which is expected to wrap up in October. In Oklahoma City, the company completed a full reconstruction of a 16-unit building at Penn Station Apartments, with eight units rebuilt from the foundation up and eight additional units fully restored.
