NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

New revenue leader and board member join as AppViewX’s identity security business continues its rapid growth

AppViewX, the leading machine and agent identity security company built for the AI and quantum enterprise, today announced the appointment of Mike Durso as Chief Revenue Officer and the addition of Clarence Hinton to its Board of Directors. The appointments strengthen AppViewX’s commercial execution and long-term strategy as the company scales beyond its roots in CLM, PKI, and PQC-readiness to address customer demand to secure machine identities, AI agents, and the cryptographic trust that underpins digital infrastructure.

Durso and Hinton join AppViewX to amplify a leadership team with deep roots across the identity security industry. The existing executive team includes Chief Executive Officer Archit Lohokare and Chief Technology Officer Kashyap Ivaturi, both former executives at CyberArk (now Palo Alto Networks Idira), as well as Chief Product Officer Paul Trulove, formerly of SailPoint. Together, they represent AppViewX’s continued investment in attracting world-class talent, strengthening strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of machine and agent identity security.

“Identity security has entered its next chapter,” said Archit Lohokare, CEO of AppViewX. “For years, the industry has focused primarily on human identities. Now, trust must extend across machines, AI agents, and the cryptographic infrastructure that connects them. We’re building a leadership team with the expertise to guide customers through this transformation.”

Durso brings more than two decades of enterprise technology and cybersecurity leadership experience, having built and scaled global go-to-market organizations at Ping Identity, CyberArk, Snyk, and VMware. As Chief Revenue Officer, he will lead the company’s global sales, channel, and solution engineering efforts.

“What drew me to AppViewX was the combination of exceptional people, differentiated technology, and a market that’s entering a defining moment,” said Mike Durso, CRO of AppViewX. “Machine identity, AI agents, and post-quantum cryptography are now converging. Organizations need a strategic partner that navigates them through this reality. I’m excited to accelerate our growth, further establish our partner ecosystem, and bring AppViewX to more Fortune 1000 organizations around the world.”

As a member of AppViewX’s Board of Directors, Hinton brings more than two decades of identity security leadership, including scaling CyberArk during a pivotal period of hypergrowth. His strategy and business development experience across the identity and access management landscape will help sharpen AppViewX’s strategy as it expands into machine and agent identity.

“I’ve watched identity security evolve from its formative days into a discipline that now spans every machine and AI agent an enterprise depends on,” said Clarence Hinton, member of the AppViewX Board of Directors. “AppViewX has built the platform to lead through that shift, and I’m looking forward to helping guide its strategy as this category scales.”

The appointments follow AppViewX’s product launch for Agent Identity Security and their new global partner program. Built on AppViewX’s identity security foundation, Agent Identity Security defends enterprises from rogue agents with deep visibility into every AI agent, governance over the risk each one carries, and runtime control to stop privilege misuse.
