LIVONIA, Mich., Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Javelin Strategy & Research has released its 2026 Business-to-Business (B2B) Identity Protection Services (IDPS) Vendor Scorecard, evaluating IDPS vendors. The research finds that platform integration is emerging as a key competitive differentiator as consumers increasingly seek financial security, identity and privacy protections that seamlessly connect to trusted institutions. Enhanced scam protections and more inclusive cyber insurance coverage also emerged as important components of B2B IDPS programs.

The U.S. IDPS market reached $13 billion in 2026, up 38% from 2023, and is forecast to reach $18 billion by the end of 2027 as investment in identity protection continues to grow, according to related Javelin research published in April.

Although support for co-branded programs is widespread, deeper digital platform integration remains limited among evaluated B2B IDPS vendors. While 87% of the IDPS vendors evaluated offer co-branded programs, only 53% support online-banking APIs, 47% offer a fully integrated online-banking experience, and 33% provide full mobile-app integration or mobile APIs. This gap offers IDPS providers an opportunity to distinguish themselves by embedding identity protection services directly into financial institutions’ digital banking experiences.

“Identity protection shouldn’t redirect end-users elsewhere. It should be woven into the banking experience,” said Tracy Goldberg, Director of Javelin’s Cybersecurity practice. “That means B2B IDPS providers need to move beyond co-branding and make IDPS integration a core platform capability across online and mobile banking.”

Enfortra earned Best in Class honors, standing as the only B2B IDPS vendor to offer scam predictability modeling. Enfortra was also one of only two evaluated vendors, alongside FIS ChexSystems, to support the full range of online- and mobile-banking integration options assessed.

FIS ChexSystems and Allstate Identity Protection were named overall Leaders. FIS ChexSystems distinguished itself through flexible B2B distribution and pricing models and its ability to integrate identity protection into financial institutions’ online- and mobile-banking experiences. Allstate Identity Protection distinguished itself through comprehensive identity theft support, expansive family and cybersecurity protections, and cybersecurity insurance coverage for losses linked to emerging threats such as scams, cyberbullying, cyber extortion and ransomware.

“Flexibility in business and delivery models is becoming essential for B2B IDPS providers,” continued Goldberg. “Providing business clients with wholesale, embedded and retail options allows them to tailor identity protection to different consumer segments. For financial institutions, that flexibility can also create new revenue opportunities.”

This scorecard, Javelin’s first assessment of B2B IDPS vendors, is designed to help financial institutions and IDPS providers evaluate the evolving B2B identity protection market and understand the capabilities that set leading providers apart. The scorecard evaluates 15 B2B identity protection providers across 73 criteria and five categories: Business Models, IDPS Platform Integration, ID Theft Support, Provisions & Coverage, and Data Protections & Exposure Monitoring.
