StoneManor Homes Celebrates Groundbreaking of New Acres Legacy Community in Houston, Texas

StoneManor Homes celebrates the groundbreaking of Acres Legacy, a new 52-home residential community in Houston’s Acres Homes area. Located near TC Jester and Mansfield Street, Acres Legacy will bring new homeownership opportunities to the historic Houston neighborhood.

HOUSTON, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — A new chapter in residential development is taking shape in Northwest Houston as StoneManor Homes officially broke ground on Acres Legacy, a 52-home single-family residential community at the intersection of T.C. Jester Boulevard and Mansfield Street.

The groundbreaking brought together the managing partners of Elevated Development and Realfin Capital, their families, and members of the StoneManor Homes team to celebrate the start of construction and the partnership behind the new community.

Located in the historic Acres Homes area, Acres Legacy represents an investment in new housing within one of Houston’s established neighborhoods while bringing new construction to a strategically located infill site.

“This groundbreaking represents much more than the start of construction,” John Tucker, CEO of StoneManor Homes. “It represents the beginning of a community that will give families an opportunity to put down roots in an area with a tremendous history and an exciting future. We’re proud to work alongside Elevated Development and Realfin Capital and look forward to watching Acres Legacy take shape.”

The 52-home development is being created through a partnership between StoneManor Homes and Elevated Development, a Houston-based land development company focused on residential and mixed-use communities.

For Elevated Development, the project reflects the company’s approach to transforming underutilized land into residential communities that are carefully planned and responsibly executed.

“Acres Legacy is a great example of what can happen when the right partners come together around a shared vision,” said Scott Sparks, President of StoneManor Homes. “There is a tremendous amount of work that happens before a shovel ever goes into the ground. Last week was an important milestone, but it is only the beginning. Our team is looking forward to delivering homes that people will be proud to call their own.”

The location provides residents with convenient access to major Houston employment centers, transportation corridors, schools, retail and surrounding neighborhoods. The community is situated near Beltway 8 and U.S. Highway 290, with connectivity to areas including Spring Branch, the Energy Corridor and Downtown Houston.

The development also arrives at a time when Houston continues to see demand for new housing in established communities. City of Houston initiatives have identified Acres Homes as an area where new residential development can help expand homeownership opportunities and revitalize existing neighborhoods.

For StoneManor Homes, Acres Legacy adds another community to its growing portfolio throughout the Houston region and reinforces the company’s commitment to building homes in locations where residents can enjoy both connectivity and established neighborhood character.

The name Acres Legacy reflects the significance of the location and the long-term vision for the community, creating a place where new homeowners can establish their own legacy while becoming part of an area with deep roots in Houston’s history.

With the groundbreaking now complete, construction is set to move forward as the 52-home community begins to take shape.
