CHANTILLY, Va., Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Compu Dynamics Modular (CDM), a specialized provider of high-performance AI data center infrastructure solutions, today announced the launch of its expanded modular infrastructure portfolio, delivering an application-optimized platform designed to deploy high-density power, cooling, and compute capacity rapidly through repeatable infrastructure building blocks required for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing (HPC).
Designed and built in the United States, CDM’s new portfolio extends from a compact 750 kW All-In-One Module through 1.5 MW and 3 MW configurations to a 5 MW to 6 MW Turnkey AI Factory. The repeatable architecture allows customers to deploy right-sized capacity today and expand toward 10 MW, 15 MW, 50 MW, and larger AI campuses as compute requirements grow.
As next-generation GPUs drive rack densities toward hundreds of kilowatts per rack, the escalating power and thermal demands are putting pressure on traditional data center design and construction timelines. CDM addresses this shift by productizing reference architectures around anticipated technology evolution into repeatable, factory-built blocks that integrate IT white space with right-sized power, hybrid direct-to-chip liquid and air cooling, safety controls, and supporting electrical systems.
To meet that demand, CDM built its portfolio around a model that prioritizes speed and predictability. “AI is forcing the industry to rethink not only what data center infrastructure looks like, but how quickly and predictably it can be brought online,” said Steve Altizer, President and CEO of Compu Dynamics and CDM. “CDM brings the engineering, manufacturing, deployment, and maintenance capabilities together to help customers build the capacity they need today and expand efficiently as their requirements evolve.”
The CDM modular AI infrastructure portfolio includes:
- 750 kW All-In-One Module: A compact, self-contained solution integrating IT, power, and cooling within a single deployable footprint, designed for AI edge inference, sovereign edge computing, and space-constrained deployments.
- 1.5 MW Base Module: The foundational building block of the CDM AI platform, pairing high-density IT white space with a dedicated 2 MW critical power module and hybrid cooling for enterprise AI deployments, colocation expansion, and phased campus growth.
- 3 MW AI Modular Solution: Two physically connected 1.5 MW base modules forming a contiguous data hall supported by two dedicated 2 MW power modules engineered for mid-scale AI training, private GPU clouds, and high-volume inference environments.
- 5 MW Turnkey AI Factory: CDM’s campus-scale building block, delivering 5 MW of nominal IT load scalable up to 6 MW, supporting configurations up to 64 high-density IT and network racks depending on workload and rack power requirements, and a resilient 4-to-make-3 electrical architecture with 8 MW of installed UPS capacity, designed for hyperscale campuses, foundation model training, and wholesale AI colocation environments.
Across the portfolio, CDM uses a standardized engineering architecture built for the thermal and power demands of next-generation AI hardware, supporting hybrid air and direct-to-chip liquid cooling, resilient electrical topologies, dynamic load stabilization, and vendor-neutral integration with leading chip, IT, power, and infrastructure OEMs.
“These aren’t simply prefabricated data halls. Every solution is engineered around the application workload and the power, cooling, and resiliency requirements that come with it,” said Ron Mann, Vice President of CDM. “By standardizing the core architecture while maintaining flexibility where it matters, we can deliver a repeatable platform that supports today’s high-density GPU environments while continuing to adapt as compute technology evolves.”
By combining comprehensive in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities with an extensive national partner network, CDM delivers fully integrated, factory-tested modules built for rapid site installation, Level 5 commissioning, and ongoing lifecycle support.
