Police say the body arrived at the facility in a truck that had collected material from commercial containers throughout the Bayers Lake and Halifax areas earlier in the day.

An autopsy conducted by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service identified the deceased as a 50-year-old Halifax man.

Investigators say the cause and manner of death remain under investigation, but the death is not believed to be suspicious.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact investigators at 902-490-5020.
