2025 Physician and Provider Annual Report
CLEARWATER, Fla., Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — BayCare Health System today released Vital Impact, its 2025 Physician and Provider Annual Report, highlighting a year of clinical excellence, academic growth and expanded access to care across West Central Florida. The report recognizes the physicians, advanced practice providers and clinical teams whose expertise continues to strengthen BayCare as the region’s largest academic health system.
The 2025 report features BayCare’s continued academic transformation, strategic collaboration with Northwestern Medicine, progress toward its 17th hospital in Manatee County and investments in integrated care models, clinical institutes, research and responsible use of technology.

Among the notable 2025 milestones featured in Vital Impact:
- BayCare expanded graduate medical education to 18 BayCare- and university-sponsored residency programs and three fellowship programs, training nearly 300 residents.
- BayCare achieved a 100% Match Day rate across sponsored GME programs in both 2025 and 2026.
- Eleven eligible acute-care hospitals earned Leapfrog Group “A” Hospital Safety Grades.
The report also highlights BayCare Medical Group’s continued growth, including 258 providers added in 2025, more than 2.5 million annual patient visits and ongoing expansion of services and practice locations across the region.
