AssetMark Appoints Kristin Ganong as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

An experienced wealth management marketing leader, Ganong will help advance AssetMark’s brand, advisor engagement and growth strategy.

CONCORD, Calif., Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AssetMark, Inc., a leading wealth management platform for independent financial advisors, today announced the appointment of Kristin Ganong as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

Ganong brings extensive experience across wealth and investment management, with a track record of connecting marketing, client experience and go-to-market strategy to business growth. In her new role, she will lead AssetMark’s marketing organization, helping advance the company’s growth strategy, strengthen its brand, and deepen engagement with advisors.

“Kristin brings a compelling combination of deep wealth management experience, commercial orientation, and marketing transformation leadership,” said Lou Maiuri, Chairman and Group CEO of AssetMark. “She understands the needs of financial advisors and the dynamics of our industry, and she knows how to connect brand, client experience, data, and digital capabilities to business growth. Her collaborative, player-coach approach will be a strong fit as we continue to expand AssetMark’s capabilities and help more advisors grow and scale their business.”

Ganong will work closely with AssetMark leadership to align marketing with business priorities, increase awareness of the company’s expanding platform and capabilities, and strengthen engagement with advisors.

“I am excited to join AssetMark at an important time for the company and the wealth management industry,” said Ganong. “AssetMark has a compelling opportunity to help advisors grow and scale by bringing together technology, investment capabilities and support around their evolving needs. I look forward to working across the organization to strengthen how we tell that story, deepen advisor engagement and connect marketing even more closely to the firm’s growth priorities.”

Ganong most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer of Russell Investments, where she led brand and commercial alignment for the global asset manager and helped advance its U.S. retail and wealth business. Prior to that, she held senior marketing and client experience leadership roles at Wellington Management and MFS Investment Management. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
