Award-winning school safety technology company expands Connecticut presence to accelerate innovation and nationwide growth

STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Anonymous Alerts®, an award-winning provider of school safety and emergency communication technology, today announced the opening of its new headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued expansion.

The company relocated from White Plains, NY, to Stamford, CT, where its new headquarters provides a modern, expanded workspace to support its growing team and portfolio of school safety, emergency communication, and mass notification technologies.

“This move represents an exciting new chapter for our company, our employees, and the schools and communities we serve,” said T. Gregory Bender, Founder and CEO of Anonymous Alerts. “Stamford gives us access to an exceptional talent pool, leading educational institutions, a dynamic business community, and a growing technology ecosystem. Our new headquarters provides the foundation to expand our team, accelerate innovation, and continue helping schools or organizations identify and address safety concerns before they escalate.”

Stamford’s strategic location, transportation infrastructure, proximity to New York City and the Northeast corridor, and strong business-friendly environment made the city a natural choice for the company’s next phase. The relocation also creates new opportunities to collaborate with Connecticut universities, school districts, safety organizations, technology partners, and internship programs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anonymous Alerts’ new office to the City of Stamford,” said Mayor Caroline Simmons. “As a highly respected school safety technology company, their expanded presence contributes to our city’s economic vibrancy and growing ecosystem of technology companies.”

From its new headquarters, Anonymous Alerts plans to:

  • Expand its engineering, business development, and customer success teams
  • Increase investment in product development and school safety innovation
  • Build partnerships with local colleges, universities, and internship programs
  • Strengthen relationships with schools, districts, and safety organizations
  • Support its growing customer base nationwide

Technology Designed to Help Schools and Organizations Act Earlier

Anonymous Alerts provides students, parents, staff, and community members with a secure and confidential way to report concerns involving bullying, threats of violence, weapons, mental health, self-harm, harassment, substance abuse, suspicious activity, and other safety issues.

Reports are delivered directly to authorized administrators through a centralized incident management platform supporting rapid review, intelligent routing to administrators, anonymous two-way communication, documentation, escalation, and follow-up.

The company’s patented technology portfolio includes Anonymous Alerts®, its anonymous reporting and incident management system; Smart Button®, an emergency communication and panic escalation platform; and K12 Alerts® and Campus Alerts®, mass notification platforms for urgent voice, text, and email communications.

Together, these solutions help schools, colleges and universities, and other organizations identify concerns earlier, communicate quickly, coordinate responses, and strengthen overall safety.

Anonymous Alerts was recognized as the 2025 Top EdTech Product of the Year in Safety and Security Technology by District Administration magazine.

“Our new Stamford headquarters will serve as a launchpad for the next generation of our products and services,” Bender added. “We are grateful to our employees, customers, and partners who helped us reach this milestone, and we look forward to putting down roots in Stamford and becoming an active part of the city’s business and technology community.”
