SHENZHEN, China, Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Abbott International has reached $1.2 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026, reflecting growth in its institutional and private client businesses and entry into new markets.

The firm is continuing to broaden its presence throughout 2026, with further market expansion planned into 2027. The increase in assets reflects new client relationships as well as continued growth among existing institutional and private clients.

China’s wealth management market has continued to grow. Bank wealth management assets reached RMB 33.29 trillion at the end of 2025, up 11.15% during the year, while the number of investors holding wealth management products reached 143 million.

Across China, wealth managers are extending their presence beyond the country’s largest financial centers as demand for professional investment and wealth management services grows in regional markets. Abbott International has also been extending its reach in China and internationally, adding new institutional and private client relationships across a wider range of markets.

“Reaching $1.2 billion in assets under management gives us a clear measure of how the firm has changed over the past year,” said Jianyu Luo, Chief Executive Officer of Abbott International. “For us, the significance of the milestone is not simply the figure itself. It reflects the trust of our clients and the strength of the relationships behind it. As we move forward, we want to preserve that focus while continuing to broaden the markets we serve.”
