Apple is working on a new fitness tracker with a screenless design, similar to the one made by Whoop, according to a report from Bloomberg. A prototype of the device reportedly has “a thin fabric band with a sensor-equipped computing module.”
As pointed out by Bloomberg, Apple has added several features already offered by Whoop to its new Apple Watch Series 12, including continuous heart rate tracking. Apple’s Health app also now has a “readiness score” used by Fitbit, Oura, and Whoop, which is supposed to tell you how “ready” you are to work out based on several factors, along with an estimate of your biological age.
