DUBLIN, Ohio and NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lument and National Church Residences announced today that Lument has been named National Church Residences’ 2026 Corporate National Volunteer of the Year, recognizing the company’s exceptional commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults and supporting communities through meaningful volunteer service.

Since launching their volunteer partnership in 2024, Lument and National Church Residences have worked together to create meaningful opportunities for Lument team members to engage directly with residents through consistent, hands-on service, seasonal celebrations and support for essential needs.

“Lument’s partnership reflects the very best of what corporate volunteerism can be; personal, consistent and connected to the people we serve,” said Susan DiMickele, President and CEO of National Church Residences. “Together, we are creating moments of joy and belonging for residents while advancing a shared commitment to affordable housing and better living for older adults. We are proud to recognize Lument as our Corporate National Volunteer of the Year.”

Through the partnership, Lument volunteers have organized a range of resident-centered activities, including interactive games, ice cream truck visits, holiday gift giving and the Baskets and Brews Project, which provided hygiene baskets for residents in Supportive Housing communities. These efforts have created opportunities for connection, celebration and practical support for residents.

Together, the organizations have helped touch the lives of more than 120 residents, with Lument volunteers contributing approximately 150 hours of service. Their ongoing presence has helped build trust, strengthen relationships and foster a greater sense of community among residents.

The relationship between Lument and National Church Residences extends beyond volunteer service. Lument team members have worked with National Church Residences over recent years to help structure mortgage loans that expand and preserve affordable housing, supporting National Church Residences’ mission to provide quality housing, care and services for seniors.

“National Church Residences is a mission-driven organization whose work aligns closely with Lument’s commitment to helping create and preserve housing where older adults can thrive,” said Tracy Peters of Lument. “We are honored to receive this recognition and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside National Church Residences in ways that strengthen communities and support residents.”
