Adap.tv co-founder and former ONE by AOL Chief Product Officer will lead product across Tatari, Upstream, and Vault as the company puts a decade of TV outcome data behind AI

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Infra TV, a TV advertising technology company and the parent of Tatari, Upstream, and Vault, announced today that Teg Grenager has joined as Senior Vice President of Product. Grenager co-founded the video advertising platform Adap.tv, led the IAB working group that wrote the VAST and VPAID standards, and has spent the past decade building AI companies. He will set product strategy across Infra’s three businesses as AI takes on more of how television is planned, bought, sold, and measured.

Grenager co-founded Adap.tv in 2007 and served as its Chief Product Officer through the company’s $400 million acquisition by AOL in 2013. He then became Chief Product Officer of ONE by AOL, setting the product vision for AOL’s unified advertising platform. From 2011 to 2012 he led the Interactive Advertising Bureau working group that developed VAST and VPAID, the technical standards that let video ad systems interoperate, and the IAB recognized the work with its 2012 Service Excellence Award. He has since built AI companies as CEO of Uncommon, a recruitment automation platform; as founder of Joinable; and, most recently, as co-founder of Basebase, an AI agent that connects to a company’s business systems and takes on work for teams through Slack. Grenager also created and taught LinkedIn Learning courses on product management that have reached more than 750,000 learners, and he holds an MS in computer science from Stanford and is ABD PhD in AI and machine learning.

“Teg helped build the plumbing that digital video advertising still runs on, and then he spent ten years in AI. Most product leaders know one of those worlds. Teg has built in both,” said Philip Inghelbrecht, CEO and Co-Founder of Infra TV. “We have a dataset of real TV outcomes that nobody else has, and half of our company is engineers, data scientists and product managers who know what to do with it. Teg’s job is to continue turning that advantage into products that change what it costs, and what it takes, to plan, buy, and measure TV.”

Grenager’s appointment comes as Tatari, Infra’s founding business, marks ten years since its launch in 2016, on the premise that television should be as measurable and accountable as digital media. More than 400 brands and agencies now plan, buy, and measure TV advertising through Tatari. Upstream automates direct-sold campaigns for streaming publishers that collectively account for the majority of direct-sold streaming impressions in the market, and Vault provides a privacy-first data cleanroom for cross-publisher TV measurement. Together, the three give Infra a view of television advertising from the buy side, the sell side, and the measurement layer, and a single set of campaign outcomes that train the AI models running across all of them.

“AI in advertising is only as good as the outcome data underneath it, and Infra has ten years of it: a Foundational TV Dataset collected directly from campaigns rather than bought or modeled,” said Grenager. “Pair that with a company that is half engineers, data scientists, and product managers, and you have the conditions to build things the rest of the industry can’t. I’m thrilled to join at the moment that work is starting to compound.”
