MemeToro adds 1,373 lines of open-source code across 17 files, including its first fair-launch escrow contract and a new smart contract test suite
SINGAPORE, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —
MemeToro has published 1,373 lines of new open-source code across 17 files, introducing the first smart contracts for the fair-launch system behind its planned AI memecoin platform.
The commit, titled “First fairlaunch draft,” moves MemeToro beyond architecture documents and AI-generated proposals by adding its first substantial Solidity implementation. The codebase uses Foundry, a widely used toolkit for Solidity development and testing.
First Smart Contracts Enter the Repository
The largest addition is FairLaunchEscrow.sol.
Each escrow represents one proposed funding round. It records the funding rules, accepts eligible contributions and determines whether the round can progress or must return funds.
The release also adds ILaunchExecutor.sol, which defines the interface for the future token-deployment and liquidity stage, and IERC20Minimal.sol, a minimal token interface needed for claims.
A real executor has not yet been implemented. MemeToro instead uses a mock executor in the test environment, allowing developers to examine the escrow logic before connecting it to token deployment and liquidity infrastructure.

Five Rules Shape the Contract Design
The draft establishes several restrictions.
Funding settings cannot be changed after a round is created. The contract has no owner or administrator and does not include an upgrade path.
Each round can also store a fingerprint of its published launch manifest. That creates a technical reference for verifying whether the on-chain round corresponds to the terms disclosed beforehand.
Funds are restricted to refunds or the launch execution process. The allocation mathematics requires contributor and liquidity allocations to account for the complete token supply, leaving no separate insider allocation in the current design.
Finally, actions such as finalization, refunds and claims are not intended to depend on MemeToro itself initiating them.
These properties are implemented in draft code rather than simply being described as platform policies.
Tests Check What Happens When Things Go Wrong
A significant portion of the update concerns testing.
MemeToro has added tests for funding caps, deadlines, minimum thresholds, refunds and claims. It also tests interactions with deliberately problematic contracts to see how the escrow behaves when an external component does not act as expected.
Random-sequence testing repeatedly changes the order of user actions while checking that the accounting still balances.
The suite also includes explicit reachability tests for launched, claimed and refunded states. This verifies that the tests actually enter the conditions they claim to examine.
The Fair-Launch System Is Not Finished
Despite the size of the update, several components remain on the roadmap.
MemeToro still needs to build the production token and liquidity executor, connect the AI-generated manifest directly to the escrow fingerprint, add deployment scripts and create a factory for launching new rounds.
The project also plans to deploy the contracts on BNB Chain testnet, integrate ERC-8004 agent identity and commission an independent security review.
Those steps will determine whether the current draft can move from tested code into a working fair-launch system.
