2026 FHLBank Indianapolis Board of Directors election candidates

Five individuals are running for three director spots on the Federal Home Loan Bank’s Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Voting for the 2026 FHLBank Indianapolis Board of Directors Election will open Sept. 22, 2026, and close Oct. 23, 2026, at 5 p.m. (Eastern).

This year, FHLBank Indianapolis has one Indiana Member Director seat, one Michigan Member Director seat, and one Independent Director seat open for election. All Indiana and Michigan members of record as of Dec. 31, 2025, are eligible to vote for the district-wide Independent Director position, all Indiana members are eligible to vote for the Indiana Member Director position, and all Michigan members are eligible to vote for the Michigan Member Director position (“eligible members”).

Districtwide Independent Director candidate

There is one candidate nominated for one Independent Director seat. Eligible members in Indiana and Michigan will have the opportunity to vote for the following nominee:

  • Kathryn Dominguez, Professor of Public Policy and Economics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich.

Indiana Member Director candidates

There are two candidates running for one Indiana Member Director seat. These Member Directors are officers or directors of FHLBank Indianapolis members in Indiana. Eligible members in Indiana will have the opportunity to elect one Member Director from the following candidates:

  • Clifford Clarke, vice chairman of the board, Three Rivers Federal Credit Union, Fort Wayne, Ind.
  • Ryan Warner, chairman of the board, The Bippus State Bank, Huntington, Ind.

Michigan Member Director candidates

There are two candidates running for one Michigan Member Director seat. These Member Directors are officers or directors of FHLBank Indianapolis members in Michigan. Eligible members in Michigan will have the opportunity to elect one Member Director from the following candidates:

  • Jennifer Borowy, president and CEO, Michigan First Credit Union, Lathrup Village, Mich.
  • William Hufnagel, president and CEO, The Dart Bank, Mason, Mich.

When the election opens on Sept. 22, members should watch for email alerts with links to the ballot from “FHLBank Indianapolis Election Coordinator <[email protected]>.” Recipients should add this email to their “safe sender” list to avoid it being filtered out from email inboxes.
