The cause is not abnormal hormone levels, but how sensitive the brain is to normal hormone change. Dr. Eisenlohr-Moul is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Chicago and a recipient of a 2018 Young Investigator Grant.
