TruePoint names award-winning creative leader April Steinbach as creative director.

DALLAS, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TruePoint is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an investment in the agency’s next chapter of growth, naming award-winning creative leader April Steinbach as creative director.

The addition is part of TruePoint’s continued growth strategy and its commitment to building the capabilities clients increasingly need from an integrated communications partner. In her role, Steinbach will lead TruePoint’s creative practice, elevate creative strategy and execution across client work, and help establish creative as an increasingly differentiated capability for the agency.

“As we celebrate 20 years of TruePoint, we’re making intentional investments in what our clients and our agency need now and into the future,” said Jessica Nunez, founder and president of TruePoint. “Creative makes every part of our work stronger, from the ideas we bring to clients to how effectively we connect with the audiences that matter to them. April brings the caliber of creative leadership, strategic thinking and experience that can help us take that work to another level.”

Steinbach brings more than 25 years of experience leading award-winning campaigns for brands including American Airlines, AT&T, Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner., Discover Network, Baylor Scott & White Health, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Texas Tourism, Bausch + Lomb, Community Coffee and Texas.gov.

Throughout her career, she has held creative leadership roles at McCann Worldgroup/TM, BBDO/Organic and, most recently, Door No. 3. Her work has been recognized by Clio Sports, Clio Health, Communication Arts, Graphis, the American Advertising Awards, Ad Age and The New York Times.

“TruePoint has built something special over the past 20 years: a strong culture, trusted client relationships and an impressive roster of brands,” Steinbach said. “I’m energized by the opportunity to expand our creative capabilities, bring more ambitious, integrated thinking to our clients and help unlock the tremendous growth potential ahead.”

Founded in 2006, TruePoint has evolved alongside the changing communications landscape, expanding its capabilities to help organizations navigate increasingly complex audiences, channels and business challenges. The agency’s growth strategy centers on continuing to strengthen its integrated services while investing in senior talent and capabilities that can deliver greater strategic value to clients.

The investment in creative leadership is part of that strategy. Steinbach will work across TruePoint’s disciplines and client portfolio to bring creative thinking upstream in the strategic process, identify opportunities to deliver more integrated solutions and strengthen the agency’s ability to generate meaningful results for large, sophisticated enterprise-work.

“Twenty years is a special milestone, but I’m much more interested in what we’re building from here,” Nunez said. “Our opportunity is to take the strengths that got us here and elevate. Adding April is an important part of that strategy.”

April joins a built-out leadership team including Julie Rizio, social media director, Mackenzie Gonzales, operations director, and Shauna Archer, marketing communications director. For more information, visit www.truepointagency.com.
