LONDON, Aug. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

360in360 Living Memories Adds Audiobook and Voice-Preservation Capability, Debuting It on Founder’s Hand-Written 2011 Book on Technology and Humanity

360in360 Immersive Experiences today announced that its 360in360 Living Memories programme has expanded its portfolio of memory-preservation tools to include audiobook production, narrated using a digital twin of an author’s own voice. The first title produced under the new capability is “Gadgets to God: Reflections on our Changing Relationship with Technology,” handwritten in 2011 and now available as a 14.5-hour audiobook on Audible UK, alongside new paperback and existing Kindle editions.

The book, first published in 2012, reflects on five decades of accelerating technological change and the author’s belief that technology must amplify humanity rather than replace it. The 2026 audiobook is narrated by an AI voice clone of David Wortley FRSA, founder of 360in360 Immersive Experiences. The Audible opening and closing credits state the audiobook is “narrated by David Wortley’s Digital Twins clone voice.” The audio is distributed via ACX/Audible under a Non-Exclusive World agreement.

The audiobook marks the latest component in a coherent 360in360 Living Memories strategy: using technology to preserve and share life stories for future generations, with a focus on social good — addressing loneliness, social isolation, and dementia. The existing portfolio includes narrated flipbooks, AI-generated songs created with digital twins to celebrate and preserve individual life journeys, and virtual memorial galleries. A recent live production, “Monologues and Memories,” was launched to raise awareness of the value of preserving personal stories for the future.

360in360 Living Memories works with partner organisations to extend the reach of its memory-preservation tools. Through its collaboration with BSMe2e, the programme has already produced narrated flipbooks and AI-generated songs that use digital twin technology to capture and share people’s life journeys. The voice-cloning capability is designed as a broad tool for preserving and sharing human stories, with audiobook narration representing one application of a wider offering.

“The book I wrote by hand in 2011 was, at its heart, a warning and an invitation — a reminder that the most important question about any new technology is whether it serves the people who use it,” said David Wortley FRSA, founder and CEO of 360in360 Immersive Experiences. “Being able to share that message now through an audiobook narrated by a digital twin of my own voice is, for me, a concrete demonstration of what 360in360 Living Memories is all about. We use technology to keep stories alive, to keep voices present, and to keep the connection between generations intact. That is the point — not novelty, but continuity.”
